1. Acceptance and minimum age
To create an account or take part in the community, you must be at least 18, accept these terms and follow the Community Guidelines. We do not provide a parental consent process.
2. What Peregrinia provides
Peregrinia helps you choose, prepare, walk and remember the Camino de Santiago through routes, stages, places, My Camino and community tools. It is not an emergency, medical, weather or turn-by-turn navigation service.
Distances, trails, timetables, prices, availability, weather and contributions may be incomplete or change. Check critical information against official sources and decide based on actual conditions.
3. Account, profile and privacy
- Protect your credentials, provide accurate information and do not impersonate another person.
- New profiles are public by default. You can hide yours and control location and preferences under Privacy.
- Do not share contact details, documents, location or accommodation if you do not want other people to know them.
4. Community and meeting people
Groups help adults connect, but Peregrinia does not select, verify in person or accompany their members. Email verification does not confirm identity or behaviour. Use the report, block and leave tools, and follow the Safety Guide when meeting someone.
A group's capacity, section and agreements are indicative arrangements between its members. Contact details are never revealed automatically, and each person decides whether to share them after being accepted.
5. User-generated content
You retain the rights to what you publish and grant Peregrinia a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, technically adapt and display it as needed to provide and promote the feature you selected. We do not automatically translate your community content.
You may only upload content you own or are authorised to use. Do not publish illegal content, threats, harassment, hate, exploitation, deception, spam, covert advertising, third-party data without permission, malicious files or material that infringes intellectual property or privacy.
6. Moderation, blocking and removal
We may limit visibility, remove content, temporarily suspend participation, remove someone from the community or block an account depending on severity and history. These are distinct, auditable and reviewable statuses. A single report does not automatically remove legitimate content.
Removed content is retained for up to 30 days for administrative review and then purged, unless it is safety evidence or subject to a legal obligation. You can request a review through Contact.
7. Professional services and payments
Businesses are identified and kept separate from pilgrim contributions. Payments are processed by Stripe. The current terms, price and cancellation arrangements are shown before you subscribe to establishment management from your account.
8. Liability and emergencies
You use the service and take part in meet-ups at your own risk. In an emergency, call 112 or the relevant local number. Peregrinia does not guarantee coverage, uninterrupted availability, compatibility between people or an absence of risks on the Camino.
9. Changes, governing law and contact
We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes on the website or by email. Spanish law and the mandatory consumer rights of your country apply where relevant. For questions or complaints, write to hola@peregrinia.com.
