Cookie Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

1. Technologies we use

Peregrinia uses cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary to maintain your session, protect forms, remember choices you ask us to save and provide the PWA or offline options.

2. Necessary cookies

  • Peregrinia session cookie: maintains your session and temporary messages. Its name may vary depending on service configuration.
  • XSRF-TOKEN: checks that requests belong to your session and protects against request forgery.
  • Remember-me cookie: only created if you choose to stay signed in and lasts longer than the standard session.

Their duration and security attributes depend on the deployed configuration and browser. Authentication cookies are sent with Secure, HttpOnly where their function permits it, and SameSite restrictions.

3. Local and offline storage

The PWA may save the app shell, preferences, trails, stages, essential points and submissions you have explicitly queued on your device. We do not save OpenStreetMap tiles for offline use. You can delete this data in your browser or by removing the Camino download.

4. What we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, Google Analytics or social pixels. Our own visit measurement described in the privacy policy uses the existing session when available and does not install additional cookies or share data with third parties. If this changes, we will update the policy and request consent where required before activating the technology.

5. How to manage them

You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser. Doing so will sign you out, and some offline features or preferences will no longer be available.
