I'm planning to walk the Camino Francés from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port to Santiago beginning in October 2027 and finishing in November. I'm looking for another pilgrim who might be interested in sharing part or all of the journey. I'm particularly interested in enjoying the experience rather than racing to Santiago—walking at a comfortable pace, enjoying the countryside, history, villages, food and conversations along the way. I'm an experienced outdoorsman and fly fisherman, and I'd especially enjoy sharing the experience with someone who appreciates nature, history, books and the quieter side of the Camino. I'm flexible about accommodations and daily distances and would prefer to meet beforehand, if possible, and see whether our personalities and walking styles are compatible. I'm a 75 year old man who is in very good shape and can complete the entire walk.
